Music is getting worse and worse .. the music industry is about image, not quality .. MTV has destroyed the music? How do people with no talent like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears are making lots of money and get on TV? Because theyre stupid and attractive / popular, and their music reeks, but it becomes more and more publicity stills that of another artist who is much better, but does not work good in a music video. Its to the point where all models are popular. If you are not good, you sure as hell can not be on MTV. Just look at all the people on MTV these days. Theyre obsessed gangstas is blasphemous, crazy punks, or hot chicks. Some examples are 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Eminem, Sum 41, Billy Talent, Panic at the Disco, Rihana, Hillary Duff, Kelly Clarkson, etc etc etc. All these people (and Id throw Brit and Paris in the mix) call to people these days and are shown on MTV all the time. God only knows why people like them. For me, its clear as day that their music isn't even close what was popular before the entire music video era.
